4 SIMPLE HOMEMADE FACIAL MASKS

Going to the spa every other week for facials and clean ups sounds very nice but not all of us can afford that right?! I have found some easy, cheap DIY’s that you can use to achieve almost the same result as you would when you go to the spa.. AND I guarantee you probably already have the ingredients at home 🙂

Banana Facial Mask

fullsizerender-3

1/4 cup plain yogurt, 2 tbsp honey and 1 medium banana mash up until smooth and apply a layer on your face and neck and leave it on for 10-20 minutes and then rinse off

Lemon Facial Mask

Mix the juice of 1 lemon with 1/4 cup olive or sweet almond oil, Apply it on your face, let it sit for a few minutes and then rinse off.- These together will exfoliate and moisturize your skin, and isn’t that what we’re all looking for ?!

Yogurt Facial Mask

1 tsp plain yogurt, juice of 1/4 slice of an Orange, some Orange pulp and 1 tsp Aloe. Leave it on for at least 5 minutes and rinse.. You could even just apply a thin layer of yogurt on your face and leave it on for about 20 minutes – You’ll still achieve the cleansed skin and tight pored 🙂

Oatmeal Facial Mask

Mix 1/2 cup hot- not boiling water and 1/3 cup oatmeal. Let it settle for 2-3 minutes and then add 2 tbsp plain yogurt, 2 tbsp honey, 1 small egg white, mix and apply on your face. Leave it on for about 10-15 minutes and then rinse off with warm water

We will be doing the Oatmeal facial mask today. I have heard a lot about how Oatmeal being a good ingredient in masks, so I will try that out today.. I hope you all get a chance to try one of these masks and if you do, let me know. I would love to hear all about it 🙂
